Pre-Service Teacher Workshops

I can do one to three hour workshops for education majors that include lesson ideas, hands-on activities, and standards-based curriculum. 2006 Catalog of Lesson Plans

Now Available online, the 2006 Catalog of Lesson Plans. These lesson plans are produced by the New Mexico Agriculture in the Classroom program and are a directory of New Mexico Agricultural Resources and list potential Science Fair Projects that involve agriculture. They are written by New Mexico teachers for New Mexico teachers and are linked to State Department of Education standards and benchmarks. Lessons are available by mail for $3.50 each and the order form is at the end of the catalog. Click here for catalog.

“What grows in New Mexico” Free Coloring Book Available

Attention Women’s Committee Members, CowBelles and Educators — New Mexico Ag in the Classroom, in cooperation with Mesilla Valley CowBelles, recently developed a “What Grows in New Mexico” coloring book designed to be used in the classroom, or distributed at fairs, ag days or other agricultural events. It is for elementary students, K through 2nd grades, and shows the various animals and crops grown in the state. It is black and white, eight pages and was illustrated by a senior 4-Her.
